Raging Waves or Raging Disappointment? Surf Camp Name Review.
This summer, I decided to take the plunge and check out Surf Camp Name, hoping for epic rides and some serious shredding. Finding my way to the camp, though, was a little rougher than expected. The drive took like forever, and when we finally got/arrived/made it there, the place seemed a bit tired/worse for wear/worn down.
Inside the rooms/The accommodations/Our living quarters were basic, but clean enough. The food was surprisingly good/decent/okay, and the staff were friendly/were helpful/seemed nice. The real test, of course, was the surfing/waves/ocean.
Here's where things get a bit mixed.
Some days, we had awesome/killer/epic waves that were perfect for practicing/shredding/hanging ten. Other days, it was choppy. Honestly/Truthfully/To be fair, the inconsistency was/made/threw off our whole trip.
Sometimes, we had great/fun/memorable lessons with instructors who really knew their stuff. Other times, the instruction was/felt/seemed a bit lackluster/uninspired/meh.
Overall, Surf Camp Name was a mixed bag/bit of both worlds/rollercoaster of emotions. It had its moments of pure glory/fun/awesome, but it also had some serious downfalls/disappointments/hiccups. If you're looking for a totally perfect/ideal/dreamy surf camp experience, this might not be the place. But if you're flexible/laid-back/ready for anything and don't mind/can handle/are okay with a little bit of chaos/adventure/inconsistency, then Surf Camp Name could still be worth checking out.
